1973年・札幌市生まれ。県立岐阜高校卒。
1996年国際基督教大学教養学部卒業、
1998年大阪大学国際公共政策研究科博士前期課程修了、
1999年大阪大学国際公共政策研究科博士後期課程中退(2006年、博士(国際公共政策))、
経済産業省通商機構部参事官補佐、
大阪大学国際公共政策研究科准教授 等を経て、現職。

Biography
Yoshiko Naiki joined Nagoya University in October, 2019, as a professor. Before coming to Nagoya University, she worked as: research associate at the Fletcher School, Tufts University; deputy director at the WTO dispute settlement section in the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Government of Japan; and associate professor at Osaka University, Graduate School of International Public Policy.
She holds a Ph.D in public policy from Osaka University. Her work focuses on domestic regulations and trade, in particular, regulations and standards concerning food safety and the environment. Her research interests also include a wide range of regulation and governance, such as private standards/certification systems or public-private partnerships.
She has published articles on these topics in the Journal of Environmental Law, International and Comparative Law Quarterly, European Journal of International Law, World Trade Review.
She was a visiting researcher/scholar at University College London, Singapore Management University, and European University Institute.
